of Atomic Energy, Begumpet, Hyderabad-500 016 invites on behalf of
President of India, sealed item rate Two Part tenders for the following
work up to 15:00 hours on 8-7-2010 from Government registered and
well experienced contractors who have done successfully similar nature
of work mentioned below in Central / State Government Departments
which will be received by the Incharge, C & ES Group, 1-10-153
to 167, AMD Complex, Begumpet, Hyderabad-500 016. Technical bids
of the same will be opened on the same day i.e. on 8-7-2010
at 15:30 hours in the presence of tenderers / their authorised representatives
who desire to be present for the following work :-

Short
listed financial bids will be opened at a later date. Prebid meetings
will be held on 12-7-10 & 13-7-10.
E.M.D. is to be submitted in the form of crossed D.D./Banker's Cheque
from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, AMD
Payable at Hyderabad. Non fulfillment of requirements of Letter of
intent of the successful bidder and non commencement of the work after
issue of work order shall lead to forfeiture of full amount of EMD
to Government.
Technical
bid, financial bid & E.M.D. are to be enclosed in separate
sealed envelopes marked respectively. All the three envelopes shall
then be placed in another sealed envelope superscribing the tender
No. & date and to be submitted.
Eligibility
criteria :-
Tenders who fulfill the following eligibility criteria only (Documentary
evidence should be submitted) shall be issued tender documents. Attested
copies of proof of the following shall be attached with the application.
(a) Registration in appropriate class in Government Organisations,
undertakings & Enterprises
(b) Experience of successfully completed similar works during the last
5 years. .
(i) Three similar works completed costing not less than 40% of cost put to
tender. or
(ii) Two similar works completed costing not less than 60% of cost put to tender.
or
(iii) One similar work completed costing not less than 80%of the cost put to
tender.
(c) Solvency Certificate for an amount not less than 40% of the cost put to
tender.
(d) List of construction Plants & Machineries, NDT equipments scaffolding
etc they possess.
(e) List of technical Staff.
(f) Copy of PAN/TAN Card
Experience in similar works means “structural repair works involving
shot creting, grouting, shear connectors, Non galvanized weld mesh,
filling of cracks using acrylic latex caulk crack filling compound
or similar compounds preparing the surface by sand blasting /water
jetting, conducting NDT tests and load tests including analyzing and
interpretation of test data “etc all to be done for 6 storyed multistoreyed
buildings.
The contractor on whom the letter of intent will be issued shall have
to submit Police Verification Certificate issued by local Police Authorities
for him self/Engineers/Supervisors as per existing security rules of
this Directorate..

document can be had in person from the office of Incharge, C & ES
Group, AMD Complex, Begumpet, Hyderabad-16 during working days between
1400 hours to 1600 hours from 28-6-2010 to 6-07-2010 at
a cost of Rs.500/- each tender (Payable in cash, non-refundable).
Director,
AMD, Hyderabad reserves the right to accept/reject any or all tenders
without assigning any reason thereof. Tender with any
condition including conditional rebate, shall be rejected forthwith.
