Regional Director, Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration
and Research, Department of Atomic Energy, North Eastern Region,
Shillong-793011, invites, on behalf of the President of India,
sealed tenders up to 15:00 hours on 05.03.2010 from Government
registered contractors in the relevant field of work having Khasi
Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Trading License (for
undertaking work in Meghalaya State) which will be received by
the office of Regional Director, NER, AMD, Nongmynsong, Shillong-793011
and opened on the same day at 15:30 hours in the presence of
tenderers/authorized representatives who desire to be present
for the following work.

Contractors may read carefully all tender terms and conditions
before filling up the respective rates in relevant columns.
The tenderers may inspect the site/premises with prior permission
and get conversant with the nature of work before submission
of their tenders. Once the tender is submitted, no revision or
change in the tender shall be allowed and any such action from
the part of the tenderer during the validity period but prior
to the issue of work order shall lead to 50% forfeiture of EMD.
Further, non-commencement of contract, once awarded, shall lead
to forfeiture of the full amount of EMD. The tender for the work
shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 3 months from
the date of opening of tender.
Tender & EMD are to be enclosed in separate sealed envelops
marked “ Tender No.” and “Earnest Money” respectively. Both envelopes
shall then be placed in another sealed envelope super- scribing
the Tender No. and date to be submitted.
Tender documents can be had in person from the office of Engineer-in-charge,
AMD, NER, Shillong-11 during working days between 14:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs from
22.02.2010 to 03.03.2010 at a cost of Rs. 500/- (payable in cash and non-refundable).
Intending tenderers may submit the application for issue of tender along with
attested copies of (a) valid registration in appropriate class in Government
Organizations, Undertakings and Enterprises, (b) list of works of similar nature
and magnitude in hand and those already carried out by them during the last five
years (c) performance / completion certificates of at least 1 No. work of Rs.
6.40 lakh or above / 2 Nos. works of Rs. 4.0 lakh or above / 3 Nos. works of
Rs. 3.20 lakh or above, (d) bank solvency certificate of Rs. 3.20 lakh or above,
(e) list of technical staff and machineries or equipments they possess (f) copy
of PAN/TAN card issued by the Income tax department, (g) KHADC License & professional
tax certificate and (h) any other supporting documents / credentials deem useful
Regional Director, AMD, NER, Shillong reserves the right to accept / reject any
or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
